It is our purpose to offer a place of care, comfort and safety for children for as long as needed to assist them back into a loving and caring family for life.
We pride ourselves in providing a positive environment which is dependent upon the staff’s consistent good work. We have a lead therapeutic senior in each home. They are in regular supervision and contact with the clinical director. Their role is to ensure that their teams understand and implement working practises that underpin our therapeutic approach and philosophy to behaviour management. Our positive behaviour management approach rests on the simple formula: Consistency/ Behaviour/Consequences. Each child and young person has a personalised behaviour plan to enable self-regulation and understanding of their behaviour. Our young people are encouraged to talk about how they can improve their behaviour and learn new ways to manage their lives.
